Ducking Hunger Regatta



 2018 Tickets Go on Sale July$5 to adopt a racing duck will bring 13 meals to Grayson County Families! 

This fundraiser helps build awareness and support for the services offered through the GCA Food Pantry. The Ducking Hunger Regatta helps to raise much needed funds enabling the Food Pantry to serve, on average, 685 families a month.

The event is simple and family friendly. Adopt a GCA duck for only $5 and you have an opportunity to win $1,000! All the adopted ducks raced on the lazy river at the Leitchfield Aquatic Center on Labor Day evening September 3, 2018 at 6PM CST. Come out and watch the fun! The race is free and open to everyone. Only 2,000 ducks are up for adoption.Tickets are on sale now at the Centre on Main or the GCA Food Pantry. Anyone interested having tickets sold at their place of business please contact the GCA office 270-259-4000. Volunteer opportunities are available day of the race for local students looking for service hours please for more information.
